The Leggett Pirates volleyball team (Leggett, TX), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting High Island Cardinals (High Island, TX)

The Cardinals (11-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Burkeville (Burkeville, TX). The Mustangs come into the 1A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 11-15 record. In their last challenge, Burkeville went down by Spurger (Spurger, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pirates encounter the Chester Yellowjackets (Chester, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Tuesday, October 24. Leggett will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 25-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Goodrich (Goodrich, TX).
