In Friday's league battle, the visiting Nimitz Vikings volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Irving Tigers.
The Vikings (14-17) will now prepare for their battle against Berkner (Richardson, TX). The Rams come into the 6A Region I District 7 battle with a 11-25 record. In their last battle, Berkner lost by Pearce (Richardson, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 battle, on Tuesday, October 24. Irving will attempt to advance on its 3-24 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 24-11 record after their 3-0 league win over MacArthur (Irving, TX).
