Texas High School Volleyball - Jay can't hold off Taft

The Jay Mustangs volleyball team (San Antonio, TX), was edged 3-2 in Friday's league challenge with the host Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX)

The Raiders (11-30) will now prepare for their challenge against Harlan (San Antonio, TX). The Hawks come into the 6A Region IV District 29 challenge with a 38-5 record. In their last challenge, Harlan nudged Jay (San Antonio, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Brennan Bears (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 test, on Tuesday, October 24. Jay will attempt to improve on its 22-18 season record. The Bears enter the test with a 35-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Holmes (San Antonio, TX).
