The Red Devils (17-22) will now prepare for their battle against Comstock (Comstock, TX). The Panthers come into the 1A Region I District 5 battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Comstock lost by Iraan (Iraan, TX), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Iraan Braves (Iraan, TX) in a 1A Region I District 5 battle, on Tuesday, October 24. Marathon will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Braves come into the battle with a 2-12 record after their 3-2 league win over Comstock (Comstock, TX).
