Texas High School Volleyball - Riesel over Marlin

Riesel Indians (Riesel, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Marlin Bulldogs (Marlin, TX), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Indians clash with the Chilton Pirates (Chilton, TX) in a 2A Region II District 16 match, on Tuesday, October 24. Riesel will attempt to advance on its 15-15 season record. The Pirates come into the match with a 3-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX).

With the loss, Marlin drops to 2-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Bremond (Bremond, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 2A Region II District 16 match on Tuesday, October 24.
