The North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Gladiators prevailed the host Maryvale Prep Matador volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Gladiators now have a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mayer for a 1A - Central test on Tuesday, October 24. North Phoenix Preparatory Academy will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Valley Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-15.

The Matador (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Lightning enter the non-league test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Lincoln Prep dropped by Cicero Prep Academy (Scottsdale, AZ), 3-0, in a league test.
