In Friday's league battle, the host Nederland Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Port Arthur Memorial Titans.

The Bulldogs (31-13) will now prepare for their battle against Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Eagles come into the 5A Region III District 17 battle with a 36-7 record. In their last battle, Barbers Hill achieved victory over Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Titans clash with the Crosby Cougars (Crosby, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 battle, on Tuesday, October 24. Port Arthur Memorial will attempt to advance on its 1-17 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 14-26 record after their 3-0 league win over Lee (Baytown, TX).
