In Friday's league contest, the Petersburg Vikings (Petersburg, AK) volleyball squad were winner over the host Skagway Panthers (Skagway, AK), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Vikings face the Craig Panthers (Craig, AK) in a 2A Southeast contest, on Friday, October 20. Petersburg will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wrangell (Wrangell, AK).

With the loss, Skagway moves to 0-2 on the year.
