The Poteet Pirates topped the visiting Seagoville Dragons volleyball team by a count of 3-0 in Friday's league game.

The Pirates now possess a 22-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Samuell for a 5A Region II District 12 game on Tuesday, October 24. Poteet will meet a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league win over Spruce (Dallas, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 4-9.

The Dragons (3-21) will now prepare for their game against Conrad (Dallas, TX). The Chargers enter the 5A Region II District 12 game with a 3-13 record. In their last game, Conrad was dropped by West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
