Legacy Tigers (South Gate, CA) followers went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their flag football team tip the host Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA), 12-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Legacy advances its record to 9-6 on the season. The Tigers host South East (South Gate, CA) to play the Jaguars in a Eastern battle on Thursday, October 23. The Jaguars go into the battle with a record of 8-9. South East lost 27-0 in their recent non-league match against Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA)

Coming up next, the Bulldogs meet the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Los Angeles, CA) in a Eastern battle, on Friday, October 24. Garfield will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Rough Riders go into the battle with a 10-7 record after their 8-6 league loss to Legacy (South Gate, CA).
