California High School Flag Football - Ponderosa nips Vista del Lago

October 20, 2025: Folsom, CA 95630

The crowd at Monday's league contest between the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) and the host Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA), witnessed Ponderosa's flag football squad edge Vista del Lago by a tally of 13-6.

The Bruins (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Inderkum (Sacramento, CA). The Tigers enter the Capital Valley Conference contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Inderkum got by Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA), 37-7, in a league contest.

Next up, the Eagles encounter the Bella Vista Broncos (Fair Oaks, CA) in a Capital Valley Conference bout, on Wednesday, October 22. Vista del Lago will attempt to advance on its 14-6 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 1-19 record after their 57-0 league loss to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA).
