In Monday's league outing, the host Cimarron-Memorial Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 win over the Cheyenne Desert Shields.
The Spartans (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV). The Mustangs enter the outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Shadow Ridge tipped Somerset Sky Pointe (Las Vegas, NV), 9-1, in a league outing.
In their next game, the Desert Shields clash with the Legacy Longhorns (North Las Vegas, NV) in a test, on Wednesday, October 22. Cheyenne will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Longhorns come into the test with a 6-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Centennial (Las Vegas, NV).
