The Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Marlboro Academy Dragons (Bennettsville, SC), 2-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Defenders now possess a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty Christian Academy for a bout on Tuesday, October 21. Christ the Cornerstone Academy will clash with a Knights team coming off a 2-0 league win over Grace Christian (Loris, SC). The Knights record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Marlboro Academy drops to 0-2 on the campaign.
