North Carolina High School Soccer - Clinton knocks off South Lenoir

The Clinton Dark Horses soccer squad scored 9 points and held the visiting South Lenoir Blue Devils to 0 in the Dark Horses league victory on Monday.

The Dark Horses now hold a 18-2 record. They play next when they host East Duplin for a East Central 3A/4A bout on Wednesday, October 22. Clinton will play a Panthers squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, South Lenoir moves to 5-11 on the season. The Blue devils host Pender (Burgaw, NC) to face the Patriots in a East Central 3A/4A contest on Wednesday, October 22.
