The East Duplin Panthers soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Heide Trask Titans to 1 in the Panthers league victory on Monday.

The Panthers now hold a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a East Central 3A/4A bout on Wednesday, October 22. East Duplin will play a Dark Horses squad coming off a 9-0 league win over South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC). The Dark Horses record now stands at 18-2.

With the loss, Heide Trask moves to 4-11 on the year. The Titans host Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC) to play the Stallions in a East Central 3A/4A bout on Wednesday, October 22. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 3-12. Southwest Onslow lost 4-1 in their recent league bout against Pender (Burgaw, NC)
