East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), 7-2 in a league outing.

The Eagles (6-12) will now prepare for their outing against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings go into the Central Piedmont 7A/8A outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Northwest Guilford was overwhelmed by West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC), 4-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Reagan Raiders (Pfafftown, NC) in a Central Piedmont 7A/8A test, on Wednesday, October 22. Parkland will attempt to advance on its 3-16 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 4-13 record after their 2-1 league loss to R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC).
