Vermont Academy Wildcats (Saxtons River, VT) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host Hoosac Owls (Hoosick, NY), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Mounties go into the non-league outing with a 13-0 record. In their last outing, Mount St. Charles Academy got by Pomfret School (Pomfret, CT), 5-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Owls confront the Western Reserve Academy Pioneers (Hudson, OH) in a Interstate Prep outing, on Saturday, October 25. Hoosac will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Pioneers come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Andrews Osborne Academy (Willoughby, OH).
