Fans at Monday's league contest between the Astoria Fishermen (Astoria, OR) and the visiting Scappoose Indians (Scappoose, OR), observed Astoria's volleyball team top Scappoose by a count of 3-0.

The Fishermen (14-6) will now prepare for their battle against St. Helens (St. Helens, OR). The Lions go into the 4A Cowapa battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, St. Helens achieved victory over Seaside (Seaside, OR), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Indians now own a 7-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seaside for a 4A Cowapa battle on Tuesday, October 28.
