The Atchison County Tigers volleyball team (Effingham, KS), was knocked off 2-0 in Monday's league contest with the host Jefferson County North Chargers (Winchester, KS)

The Chargers (38-4) will now prepare for their contest against Horton (Horton, KS). The Chargers enter the Northeast Kansas League contest with a 18-17 record. In their last contest, Horton notched a victory over Jackson Heights (Holton, KS), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Cair Paravel Lions (Topeka, KS) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 20. Atchison County will attempt to improve on its 0-29 season record. The Lions go into the battle with a 17-12 record after their 2-0 league win over Lyndon (Lyndon, KS).
