The Highlands Scots (North Highlands, CA) volleyball knocked off the host San Juan Spartans (Citrus Heights, CA), 3-1 in Monday's league bout.
The Scots now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Encina for a non-league match on Tuesday, October 21. Highlands will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Victory Christian (Carmichael, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-16.
The Spartans (4-19) will now prepare for their match against Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA). The Grizzlies enter the Sierra Delta League contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Golden Sierra was knocked off by Rio Vista (Rio Vista, CA), 3-2, in a league contest.
