The Plainfield Cardinals edged the visiting Johnson Crusaders volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Monday's league game.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, October 22. Plainfield will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record.
With the loss, Johnson drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Dayton (Springfield, NJ) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 30. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 1-4.
