Shawnee Redskins (Wolf Lake, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Shawnee improves its record to 11-13 on the season. The Redskins host Dongola (Dongola, IL) to meet the Demons in a South Egyptian test on Friday, October 24. The Demons go into the test with a record of 0-11. Dongola lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Agape Christian (Energy, IL)

The Bobcats now own a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pope County for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 22.
