The Tucumcari Rattlers football team (Tucumcari, NM), was ripped 54-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM)
The Demons (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM). The Warriors come into the 3A District 4 challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Ruidoso trounced Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM), 45-9, in a league challenge.
The Rattlers now sport a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they host New Mexico Military Institute for a 3A District 4 challenge on Friday, October 28. Tucumcari will meet a Colts team coming off a 22-14 league loss to Dexter (Dexter, NM). The Colts record now stands at 4-5.
