In Friday's league match, the visiting Ponaganset Chieftains football squad scored a good 35-6 victory over the Mt. Hope Huskies.

In their next game, the Chieftains clash with the Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI) in a Division III-B match, on Friday, October 28. Ponaganset will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 55-22 league win over Narragansett (Narragansett, RI).

The Huskies (2-5) will now prepare for their match against West Warwick (West Warwick, RI). The Wizards enter the Division III-B match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, West Warwick was toppled by Moses Brown (Providence, RI), 22-14, in a league match.
