Pennsylvania High School Football - Palmerton topples Tamaqua

The Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA) football defeated the host Tamaqua Blue Raiders (Tamaqua, PA), 36-20 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Bombers face the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill bout, on Friday, October 28. Palmerton will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 8-1 record after their 14-13 league win over Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA).

The Blue Raiders (3-6) will now prepare for their bout against Panther Valley (Lansford, PA). The Panthers enter the Colonial-Schuylkill bout with a 2-7 record. In their last bout, Panther Valley lost by Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA), 42-7, in a league bout.
