The Piedmont Wildcats (Piedmont, OK) football routed the host Shawnee Wolves (Shawnee, OK), 44-7 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 5A District 2 bout, on Friday, October 28. Piedmont will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Fighting Irish enter the bout with a 7-1 record after their 56-28 league win over Southeast (Oklahoma City, OK).
The Wolves (0-8) will now prepare for their bout against Southeast (Oklahoma City, OK). The Spartans enter the 5A District 2 bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Southeast was crushed by Bishop McGuinness (Oklahoma City, OK), 56-28, in a league bout.
