The Springfield Bulldogs football team (Springfield, LA), was ripped 57-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks (Greensburg, LA)
The Hawks (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Wolverines come into the 2A District 7 challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Northlake Christian was ripped by St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA), 30-28, in a league challenge.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pope John Paul II for a 2A District 7 challenge on Friday, October 28. Springfield will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 30-20 league win over Independence (Independence, LA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-5.
