The Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Wonderview Daredevils to 35 in the Warhawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warhawks now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Concord for a non-league contest on Monday, October 24. Mt. Vernon-Enola will battle a Pirates team coming off a 52-40 non-league win over Sacred Heart (Morrilton, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 1-0.

The Daredevils (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rural Special (Fox, AR). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Rural Special ran past Mulberry (Mulberry, AR), 60-24, in a non-league contest.
