In Friday's league battle, the host North Tahoe Lakers soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Incline Highlanders.
The Lakers (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Yerington (Yerington, NV). The Lions come into the 2A North battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Yerington nudged Whittell (Zephyr Cove, NV), 9-0, in a league battle.
The Highlanders (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV). The Wolverines come into the 2A North battle with a 10-5 record.
