In Friday's league contest, the Brookings Bobcats (Brookings, SD) volleyball squad knocked off the host Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Bobcats battle the Stevens Raiders (Rapid City, SD) in a AA District 1 contest, on Friday, October 21. Brookings will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Raiders come into the contest with a 16-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD).

With the loss, Douglas drops to 11-16 on the campaign. The Patriots host Harrisburg (Harrisburg, SD) to battle the Tigers in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 22. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 17-3. Harrisburg won 2-0 in their recent league contest against Spearfish (Spearfish, SD)
