In Friday's league battle, the host Carter Cowboys volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Roosevelt Mustangs.
The Cowboys (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln (Dallas, TX). The Tigers come into the 4A Region II District 13 battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Lincoln defeated Wilmer-Hutchins (Dallas, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the North Dallas Bulldogs (Dallas, TX) in a 4A Region II District 13 battle, on Tuesday, October 25. Roosevelt will attempt to move on its 10-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 6-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Wilmer-Hutchins (Dallas, TX).
