The Meridian Yellowjackets volleyball team (Meridian, TX), went down 3-1 in Friday's league challenge with the host Covington Owls (Covington, TX)

The Owls (8-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Blum (Blum, TX). The Bobcats enter the 1A Region III District 18 challenge with a 25-12 record. In their last challenge, Blum defeated Ovilla Christian (Red Oak, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Morgan Eagles (Morgan, TX) in a 1A Region III District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, October 25. Meridian will attempt to move on its 3-23 season record.
