In Friday's league battle, the host Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Kenedy Lions.

The Bobcats (26-11) will now prepare for their battle against Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX). The Eagles come into the 2A Region IV District 28 battle with a 13-10 record. In their last battle, Woodsboro defeated Refugio (Refugio, TX), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Lions encounter the Yorktown Wildcats (Yorktown, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 28 battle, on Tuesday, October 25. Kenedy will attempt to move on its 4-21 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 21-18 record after their 3-0 league win over Bloomington (Bloomington, TX).
