In Saturday's league match, the visiting John Curtis Christian Patriots football squad scored a good 36-26 victory over the St. Augustine Purple Knights.
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Brother Martin Crusaders (New Orleans, LA) in a 5A District 9 match, on Friday, October 27. John Curtis Christian will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 6-2 record after their 21-16 league win over Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA).
The Purple Knights (2-6) will now prepare for their match against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Cavalier enter the non-league match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, De La Salle ran past Riverdale (Jefferson, LA), 51-14, in a league match.
