Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM), 7-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors face the Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) in a A/3A District 3/4 challenge, on Saturday, October 28. Ruidoso will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record.

The Warriors now have a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they host New Mexico Military Institute for a A/3A District 3/4 challenge on Tuesday, October 24. Socorro will face a Colts team coming off a 10-0 league win over Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM). The Colts record now stands at 13-3.
