South Dakota High School Volleyball - Aberdeen Central can't hold off Riggs

October 21, 2023: Pierre, SD 57501

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Riggs Governors volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles.

The Governors (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Brookings (Brookings, SD). The Bobcats come into the AA District 1 battle with a 13-15 record. In their last battle, Brookings was edged by Spearfish (Spearfish, SD), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Golden Eagles clash with the Watertown Arrows (Watertown, SD) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 24. Aberdeen Central will attempt to advance on its 13-8 season record. The Arrows come into the battle with a 22-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD).
