In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Ninilchik Wolverines volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Cook Inlet Academy Eagles.
The Wolverines (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Susitna Valley (Talkeetna, AK). The Rams come into the 2A Borealis battle with a 8-4 record.
Next, the Eagles encounter the Birchwood Christian Warriors (Chugiak, AK) in a 2A Borealis battle, on Saturday, October 21. Cook Inlet Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 6-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Ninilchik (Ninilchik, AK).
