In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Warren Easton Fighting Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the East St. John Wildcats.
The Fighting Eagles (16-13) will now prepare for their battle against Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 14-12 record. In their last battle, Riverside Academy lost by Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 23. East St. John will attempt to advance on its 0-28 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 13-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA).
