The Highland Baptist Christian Bears held off the visiting Eunice Bobcats volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bears now have a 15-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loyola College Prep for a non-league test on Saturday, October 21. Highland Baptist Christian will confront a Flyers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Red River (Coushatta, LA). The Flyers record now stands at 7-17.
The Bobcats (16-14) will now prepare for their test against Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Crusaders enter the non-league test with a 19-6 record. In their last test, Westminster Academy held off Episcopal of Acadiana (Cade, LA), 3-2, in a league test.
