Michigan High School Volleyball - Sturgis can't hold off Hanover-Horton

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Hanover-Horton Comets volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Sturgis Trojans.

The Comets (18-10) will now prepare for their battle against Mattawan (Mattawan, MI). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 20-15 record. In their last battle, Mattawan nudged Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Trojans clash with the DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 21. Sturgis will attempt to advance on its 15-10 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 20-12 record after their 3-1 league win over Okemos (Okemos, MI).
