In Saturday's non-league contest, the Howell Central Spartans (St. Charles, MO) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Westminster Christian Academy Crusaders (Edwardsville, IL), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Spartans battle the Westminster Christian Wildcats (St. Louis, MO) in a Class 5 District 3 contest, on Saturday, October 21. Howell Central will attempt to better on its 25-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 21-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Howell North (St. Charles, MO).
With the loss, Westminster Christian Academy drops to 16-7 on the campaign.
