The Wagner Red Raiders (Wagner, SD) volleyball nudged the host Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Wagner upgrades its record to 22-6 on the year. The Red Raiders travel to Burke (Burke, SD) to face the Cougars in a non-league outing on Monday, October 23. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 28-3. Burke won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Parkston (Parkston, SD)

The Titans now own a 17-10 record. They play next when they travel to Bon Homme for a A Region 5 outing on Saturday, October 21. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Parkston (Parkston, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 14-8.
