The Greenwood Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Airport Eagles to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.

The Eagles now possess a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Mauldin for a AAAAA Region 1 outing on Wednesday, October 23. Greenwood will play a Mavericks team coming off a 3-0 league win over J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC). The Mavericks record now stands at 11-12.

With the loss, Airport drops to 8-15 on the campaign. The Eagles host Sumter (Sumter, SC) to play the Gamecocks in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 24. The Gamecocks come into the outing with a record of 2-9. Sumter won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against South Florence (Florence, SC)
