Fans at Monday's league contest between the Churchland Truckers (Portsmouth, VA) and the visiting Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA), observed Churchland's volleyball team top Norcom by a count of 3-1.

The Truckers (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Lakeland was knocked off by Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Greyhounds battle the Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 22. Norcom will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a 7-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA).
