Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) followers went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their flag football team tip the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 13-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Grossmont advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Foothillers travel to Del Norte (San Diego, CA) to play the Nighthawks in a non-league battle on Friday, October 25. The Nighthawks go into the battle with a record of 6-4. Del Norte won 21-0 in their recent league battle against Ramona (Ramona, CA)

The Cougars now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Santana for a battle on Monday, October 28. Steele Canyon will play a Sultans team coming off a 0-0 non-league Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Sultans record now stands at 0-5.
