In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Appomattox County Raiders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Tunstall Trojans.
The Raiders (15-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Chatham was nudged by Bassett (Bassett, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans play the George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. Tunstall will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA).
