The Giles Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Grayson County Blue Devils to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Spartans now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Chiswell for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 22. Giles will play a Pioneers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Grayson County drops to 2-15 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Galax (Galax, VA) to play the Maroon Tide in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 22. The Maroon Tide come into the outing with a record of 17-3. Galax won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Radford (Radford, VA)
