Fans at Monday's league battle between the Tomales Braves (Tomales, CA) and the host Anderson Valley Panthers (Boonville, CA), saw Tomales's soccer squad hold off Anderson Valley by a count of 2-1.

The Braves (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Point Arena (Point Arena, CA). The Pirates enter the North Central II battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Point Arena was edged by Calistoga (Calistoga, CA), 5-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Panthers encounter the Calistoga Wildcats (Calistoga, CA) in a North Central II challenge, on Wednesday, October 23. Anderson Valley will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 9-2 league win over Technology (Rohnert Park, CA).
