In Monday's league contest, the Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC) soccer team edged the host South Garner Titans (Garner, NC), by a count of 2-1.
Next, the Pirates battle the Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 4A contest, on Wednesday, October 23. Corinth Holders will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Storm enter the contest with a 9-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Cleveland (Clayton, NC).
