The Panthers (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Blue Comets enter the Mid-Piedmont 3A outing with a 19-2 record. In their last outing, Asheboro tipped North Davidson (Lexington, NC), 3-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Grizzlies confront the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A outing, on Wednesday, October 23. Oak Grove will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Timberwolves enter the outing with a 9-7 record after their 2-1 league win over Central Davidson (Lexington, NC).
